Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a part-time Nurse Navigator for 24 hours per week on the night shift 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The role focuses on patient throughput, bed management, and safe transfers in a high‑acuity environment.

The successful candidate will hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), have RN licensure in Michigan, and at least 3 years of acute-care experience. EPIC experience is a plus, with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• 3 years of relevant acute-care nursing experience.
• RN license in Michigan upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize bed placement and transfers based on urgency and bed availability.
• Coordinate patient flow and bed assignments with medical staff and teams.
• Communicate with clinical and operations teams to facilitate appropriate placement and escalate barriers as needed.
• Maintain service level commitments and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in EPIC for Bed Management and mentor staff.
