Job summary

Woodland Springs in Conroe, TX is seeking an Assessment Specialist, RN on a PRN basis to support clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. The role requires overnight coverage including at least two overnight shifts per month, from 7 pm to 7:30 am.

The RN will perform patient assessments, contribute to treatment planning, and coordinate with care teams and external review organizations. Licensure in good standing and an accredited nursing program are required; psychiatric care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and state licensure is required.
• Experience in psychiatric health care facilities and with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients is preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

Responsibilities

• Support the department with clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and coordination of care during overnight shifts (7 pm–7:30 am).

Education

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure
