Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation).
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting diversity and culture.
• Partners with patient and significant others through bedside reports, rounds, and patient teaching.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration promoting fiscal responsibility and staff retention.
• Participates in performance improvement and shared governance.
• Completes initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to ensure a qualified workforce.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and contributes to research and value analysis.
• Upholds policies and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
