Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN for the BP6 Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit. The role offers a $41.00 minimum hourly rate with higher rates for experience, plus up to a $24,000 hiring incentive and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning and delivering comprehensive nursing care, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring a safe, compassionate patient and family experience across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Pennsylvania
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, administer and evaluate nursing care.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Educate patients and families and discharge planning.
• Promote safety and high patient satisfaction.
• Participate in unit-based decision making and quality initiatives.
