Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN for the BP6 Medical-Surgical Remote Telemetry unit. The position offers a $41.00 minimum hourly rate, higher rates for experienced nurses, and up to $7 extra per hour in evening, night, and weekend shift differentials.

Eligible candidates may receive relocation assistance and a $24,000 hiring incentive. The BP6 unit focuses on comprehensive surgical and medical care with telemetry support.

Qualifications

• PA RN license required/PA state nursing license
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing required

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and perform nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications and diagnostic studies per policy.
• Educate patients and families to maximize understanding and outcomes.
• Participate in unit-based decision making and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support unit goals and participate in quality and safety programs.
