Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor to join the Nursing Service Management Team. You will oversee staffing, ensure quality patient care, and serve as a clinical resource on the unit.

Responsibilities include directing the Nursing Service Department in the absence of senior leaders, adjusting staff based on hours per patient day and acuity, and modeling professional standards while supporting staff development.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 months as a RN.
• Hospital supervisory/managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing by adjusting on each nursing unit based on hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity.
• Serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff nurses.
• Direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of Directors and Chief Nursing Officer.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
