Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Adult Medical Transitional unit on a full‑time night shift. This fast-paced unit provides high acuity care with telemetry and frequent assessments for adults transitioning from critical care areas to standard units.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care and support patients with complex needs. Licensure in California and ACLS/CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of inpatient transitional care unit experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current California RN licensure.
• Active ACLS certification.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic care.
• Functions as a member of interdisciplinary teams; collaborates with physicians and nurses.
• Performs nursing care for patients with complex needs with supervision.
• Assists with the management of patient care administered by other nursing team members.
