Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks an experienced RN to provide bedside care in an acute inpatient setting within the Facility Resource Pool. You will perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient/family education, discharge planning, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN with current license recognized by NCSBN.
• Two years of RN experience.
• Ability to perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Develop and update care plans with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessments using age-appropriate standards.
• Develops and updates care plans with patient/family and inter-disciplinary team.
• Sets realistic goals/outcomes before discharge.
• Delivers direct nursing care per plan and delegates tasks.
• Monitors quality and safety; ensures compliance with policies.
• Participates in discharge planning and referrals.
• Assists in performance improvement and audits.
• Maintains patient safety and uses appropriate technology.
