Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in nursing from a program recognized by the state Board of Nursing.
• All RN without a BSN must enroll in an approved RN to BSN program within two years and complete within five.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred for Clin III and advanced practice readiness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document direct, age-specific care to patients per medical orders and a multidisciplinary plan of care.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor for interactions or incompatibilities.
• Provide direction, education, and leadership to unit staff as needed.
• Coordinate care with the health care team to ensure patient and family needs are met.
