Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a dedicated RN for full-time night shift on a 28-bed Acute Care unit. The role functions as a primary nurse for assigned patients, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting.

Weekend and holiday rotation are required, with a sign-on bonus eligible. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care per nursing standards, documenting outcomes, and leading handoffs.

Qualifications

• Diploma program is required or an equivalent degree.
• Associates degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates direct patient care following the nursing process.
• Administers prescribed treatments and medications safely and independently.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks based on patient condition and workload.
• Communicates patient needs for safe handoffs during transitions of care with the team.
• Documents patient responses and progress in the EMR and identifies variances.
• Demonstrates growth and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, and other disciplines to ensure quality care.
