Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for Full Time Night shifts at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. You will join a patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while ensuring a compassionate, safe environment for patients and families.

You will participate in performance improvement, maintain licensure, mentor colleagues, and adhere to confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license valid in Georgia or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line nursing care and coordinate with patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Deliver patient-centered care and advocate for patients and families.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain professional practice standards.
• Support shared governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.
• Mentor and precept junior staff and uphold confidentiality and safety policies.
