Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an Acute Care Float Pool Night RN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. Night shifts are 12 hours with a 24-hour schedule and weekend rotations.

Candidates must hold Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred), and preferably a BSN. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for external new hires, with details discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice.
• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
