Job summary
Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (6pm–6am) on a 3x12 schedule in Springfield, VT. You will provide patient care using the nursing process under Charge Nurse supervision, ensuring safety and quality in a correctional/healthcare setting.
Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in the state, nursing graduation from an accredited program, and CPR certification. One year of clinic experience is preferred; comprehensive benefits and growth
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- One year clinic experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment; CPR certification required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs with Charge Nurse and staff.
- Administer medications and assist with diagnostic tests and minor procedures.
- Count controlled substances and follow policies/procedures.
- Document nursing encounters and attend mandatory meetings/trainings.
- Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians and supervisors.
