Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Shelbyville, IL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient nursing team on a full-time 36-hour night shift (7 pm to 7 am). The successful candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and mentor staff. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Required RN licensure and BLS; BSN preferred. Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Promote patient independence by teaching condition, medications, and self-care.
• Supervise assigned team members and ensure adherence to nursing standards.
• Ensure quality of care by monitoring outcomes and following state nursing regulations.

Education
