Job summary

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC, seeks a registered nurse to provide and coordinate care on the Medical Unit (26-bed). You will follow NC Board of Nursing Act and ANA standards, delivering patient-centered nursing care.

This full-time night position (36 hours/week) includes rotating weekends and holidays, with a $30K commitment incentive, competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher.
• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Basic Life Support is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care including collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of outcomes, and development of plan of care with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions, implement them, evaluate progress, and document the care process with sensitivity to age-specific needs.
• Promote and evaluate the effective functioning of the health care team and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.

Education

Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher

Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state
