Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating is seeking a skilled Rigger for a night shift in Rayville, LA. You will set up, assemble, and disassemble rigging for relocation and transport of machinery and tools, while enforcing safety standards on site.

Responsibilities include inspecting gear, selecting appropriate equipment, and coordinating with the team to move heavy loads under close supervision. A valid driver's license and OSHA 10 are required; OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum two years of machinery moving experience or comparable field experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• OSHA 10 for Construction required.
• OSHA 30 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assemble, or disassemble rigging based on load size and movement requirements.
• Inspect rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.
• Use hand and power tools to attach loads and prepare for moving.
• Coordinate with team using signals and communication to move loads safely.
• Operate or assist in operating vehicles or mechanized equipment as needed.
