Job summary

MEI Rigging & Crating is seeking a night shift CDL driver to join a rigging crew. You will transport equipment to customer sites, handle load securement, and operate heavy equipment in industrial environments.

Position requires a valid Class A CDL, clean MVR, and 2+ years of CDL experience with manual transmissions, plus 1 year in an industrial or construction setting. Night hours Mon-Fri, 6pm-6am, local role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR.
• Minimum two (2) years driving CDL experience with vans and flatbeds; must have experience with manual transmissions.
• Minimum one (1) year of industrial experience or comparable experience within the construction service industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor & trailer rigs to job sites safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Secure and load/unload equipment and manage loads safely.
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operate vehicles and mechanized devices (forklifts, man lifts, etc.).
• Possess basic knowledge of operating equipment (forklifts, lifts).
• Apply load securing and safe hauling practices.

MEI's CDL Drivers are part of a rigging crew responsible for driving equipment to customer sites and working with heavy equipment at customer plants and construction sites.

This is a Monday - Friday night shift position, 6pm - 6am, local role.

• Drives safely and under DOT regulations tractor & trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites.
• Requires safe handling of loads, securement of loads, loading and unloading of equipment.
• Dismantles and store rigging equipment after use.
• Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment — Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor trailers, telehandlers, aerial boom lifts, etc.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platform lifts, etc.)
• Experienced knowledge of load securing and safe hauling practices
• Ability to use tape measure; hand, power, and pneumatic tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Minimum two (2) years driving experience at CDL level with Van and Flatbeds/must have experience with manual transmissions
• Minimum one (1) year of industrial experience or comparable experience within the construction service industry.
