Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead and develop our team, drive customer experience, and ensure operational excellence. You will coach shifts, foster open communication, and empower staff to deliver the Whataburger standard across all shifts.

Responsibilities include scheduling, recruiting, training, supervising Team Leaders and Team Members, and assisting with financial planning and operations under the guidance of the Operating Partner.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience in the restaurant industry preferred.
• Previous experience in a restaurant leadership position preferred.
• Strong communication, influence, and negotiating skills; ability to motivate staff.
• Ability to work in a team environment and empower team members.

Responsibilities

• Foster a High Performing Team environment by coaching during shifts.
• Ensure efficient operations and timely customer support.
• Manage scheduling, recruiting, training, and supervision of Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Support the Operating Partner and local leadership in financial planning and resource allocation.
