Job summary

Solon Pointe in Solon, Ohio is currently seeking Full-Time Respiratory Therapists to join our Night Shift team.

The role involves setting up and operating mechanical ventilators and therapy devices, monitoring patient responses, guiding breathing exercises, maintaining patient charts, and ensuring equipment safety. Applicants must have completed an approved respiratory therapy program and hold an Active State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

Qualifications

• One to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The completion of an approved school for respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operates devices such as mechanical ventilators and therapeutic gas administration apparatus.
• Monitors patient's physiological responses to therapy and vital signs.
• Assists patient in performing breathing exercises.
• Maintains patient's chart with pertinent therapy information.
• Inspects and tests respiratory equipment for safe operation.
• Orders repairs when needed and demonstrates procedures to trainees.
