Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health System is looking for a full-time Respiratory Therapist for night shifts to join our transport team in Orlando, Florida. This position involves delivering compassionate respiratory care while ensuring adherence to high standards of patient safety and advocacy.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited program, hold an active Florida RT license, and have a demonstrated history in NICU care with a minimum of three years' experience. The role requires a commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years Respiratory Therapist experience required.
• Must have 2000 hours specific to NICU Level II & III.
• Certified RT must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of Level II or Level III NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in a non-judgmental and nondiscriminatory manner.
• Provide patient education for diagnostic procedures.
• Oversee patient flow and provide clinical direction.
• Engage in self and peer evaluation according to standards.
