Required: CA degree in respiratory care, FL RT license, current RRT, 5+ years RT with NICU hours; BLS/ACLS/PALS within 30 days; NRP/STABLE within set timelines.

• Current RRT certification.
• NPS, CNPT preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS within 30 days of hire.
• NRP, STABLE within 6 months; water egress course within 1 year.
• Minimum 5 years RT experience with NICU Level II/III hours.

Nemours is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (FULL-TIME, FLEX; NIGHTS and DAYS) to join our transport team in Orlando, Florida. Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. Position Responsibilities

• Deliver care in a non-judgmental and nondiscriminatory manner that is sensitive to and values diversity.

Position Requirements

• Associate's Degree from Accredited Respiratory care Program required.
• Active Florida RT license in good standing required upon hire.
• Current RRT certification
• NPS, CNPT preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Health Care Provider course completion required within 30 days of hire.
• NRP, STABLE, within 6 months of hire; Air Medical Crew Core Curriculum Course (to include water egress for those hired after January 2025) within 1 year of hire
• Obtain within one year of eligibility and maintain certification in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years Respiratory Therapist experience required with 2000 hours specific to NICU Level II & III, Certified RT must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of Level II or Level III NICU experience.
