Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates devices such as mechanical ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Monitors patient vital signs and response to therapy.
• Administers medicinal gases and aerosols under physician orders.
• Assists patients with breathing exercises and therapy optimization.
• Maintains and reviews patient therapy charts and records.
• Inspects respiratory equipment for safety and proper function.
• Coordinates with care team to ensure effective respiratory care.
