Job summary

Transylvania Regional Hospital, part of Mission Health in Brevard, NC, seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for night shift (7p–7a) to guide patients through routine and critical care, including ventilation management and advanced respiratory care. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, provide education to patients and families, and thrive in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate degree in respiratory care or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications across care settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families, support the care team, and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment, ensure readiness, and follow infection prevention standards.
