Job summary

Holy Cross Health FL in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shift in an acute care hospital. You will provide respiratory care, manage oxygen therapy, and support patients across ER, ICU, and inpatient floors.

Florida-licensed RRT with NBRC certification is preferred, with BLS/ACLS required and at least 1 year hospital experience. You will perform arterial blood gas draws, assist with intubation and extubation, and maintain ventilation competence under current

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Respiratory Care program required.
• Florida Licensed as an RRT and NBRC certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; at least 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care therapies and oxygen administration following policy and procedure.
• Works in an acute care setting including ER, ICU, and inpatient floors.
• Assists with endotracheal intubation and extubation as indicated.
• Maintains clinical competency for mechanical ventilation in adult critical care units.
• Performs arterial blood gas draws from radial, brachial, and femoral arteries.
• Bronchoscopy assistance is a plus.
