Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week Night Shift assignment. You will provide patient care and support the respiratory care plan under physician orders.

This role requires 2 years of respiratory care experience (including 1 year in a critical care setting) and a State Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; an Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care as ordered by physicians.
• Initiate respiratory protocols and evaluate protocol steps that include all modalities of therapy.
• Assess, develop care plans, evaluate appropriateness of respiratory care modalities, and assist with discharge planning as needed.
• Provide patient and family education related to medications and therapy modalities appropriate to assessed learning skills.
• Participate in monitoring quality of care and documentation of care.
• Organize workflow to maintain smooth transition between shifts and assist in day-to-day operations (documentation, billing charges, supplies).
• Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for new respiratory care orientees; participate in councils and meetings.

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC accredited program
