Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. You will set up and maintain respiratory equipment, administer medications, and perform invasive procedures as part of protocol-driven care.

The role requires graduation from an approved Respiratory Therapy program, state licensure, NBRC RRT credential, and BCLS. A six-month clinical background is preferred, with CRT requiring RRT within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program offering associate degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completes level I and level II therapist competency validation requirements.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC.
• BCLS certification.
• At least six months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• If CRT must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated competency in all Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal applications of Respiratory Care.
• Ability to manage high volume of workload and to remain organized and composed with frequent interruptions.
