Responsibilities

• Perform ventilator checks and ensure proper function for adequate support.
• Administer IPPB and aerosol treatments as prescribed.
• Perform postural drainage and percussion as prescribed.
• Respond to Code Blue and provide life-saving procedures under physician direction.
• Suction patients using Respiratory Therapy procedures.
• Relay pertinent patient information to the next shift.
