Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA, seeks a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist to perform a wide range of respiratory care procedures for patients of all ages. You will set up and operate acute care ventilators, administer IPPB and aerosol treatments, and support respiratory therapy services across hospital units.

The role requires a CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license and RRT credential, with BLS. You will participate in education, complete documentation, and ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• RRT credential from The National Board for Respiratory Care.
• BLS certification.
• Three years experience in an acute care facility, preferably with supervisory or educational responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform ventilator checks and ensure proper function for adequate patient support.
• Administer advanced therapies in ICU settings as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform IPPB and aerosol treatments as prescribed.
• Instruct patients on postural drainage and percussion.
• Administer oxygen therapy and perform bedside spirometry as needed.
• Assist with training of respiratory and nursing students and participate in department education.
