Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Alexandria, LA seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision. Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator care, delivering aerosols, blood gas analysis, EKG analysis, and accurate documentation.

Shift: 7PM–7AM, full-time, on-site in the hospital. The ideal candidate has NBRC CRT, BLS, and 2–3 years of experience; Louisiana license required.

Qualifications

• Louisiana RCP license required for the state of employment.
• BLS certification must be current.
• NBRC CRT credential required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency (Code Blue/White) response.
• Airway management including suctioning.
• Ventilator management and setup.
• Delivery of aerosolized medications.
• Blood gas collection and analysis.
• Accurate and complete documentation.
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys.
