Job summary

You will perform assessments, administer therapies, and provide education to patients and families. Eligibility includes NBRC credentials with ongoing professional development and adherence to Wellstar policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy required or preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care settings.
• Current NBRC credentials (RRT) required or obtained on hire.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in critical care areas with protocol ventilator management.
• Administer medications and respiratory therapies per orders.
• Educate patients and mentor new staff; participate in PI projects.
• Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures as assigned.
• Maintain safe environment and accurate documentation.
