Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our night-shift team at the Fort Thomas location. You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care for critical and complex conditions, and support a high-quality post-ICU recovery program.

Qualifications

• Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire (agency RT first shift; PRN hires ACLS upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Skills
