Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an Accredited School.
• Massachusetts License required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist – Registered preferred.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under physician orders and within the scope of services and licensure laws.
• Works collaboratively with providers.
• Reviews current orders and ensures patients receive treatments as ordered.
• Administers medications via nebulizer, MDI and other delivery modes as established.
• Assesses patients throughout the treatment and interventions cycle.
• Calibrates inhaled nitric oxide system and sets ventilator parameters per orders.
