Job summary

Join Zahav Healthcare Consulting as a full-time Respiratory Therapist in Des Plaines, Illinois. You will provide individualized patient care, operate respiratory devices, and offer emergency support. The role requires completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program, a current RCP license, and strong knowledge of pulmonary care. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Experience with respiratory equipment.
• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program or technical college course.
• Current RCP license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring patient physiological responses to therapy.
• Setting up and operating therapeutic gas administration apparatus and ventilators.
• Providing emergency care such as CPR.
• Inspecting respiratory therapy equipment for safety.

Skills

Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation

Experience with respiratory equipment

Education

Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program

Current BLS and/or CPR certification

Registration or certification by the NBRC

Current RCP license in the state of practice
