Job summary

Palm Valley Post Acute is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift (6p-6a) to provide pulmonary therapy, diagnostic evaluation, and direct patient care in an acute/subacute setting.

The role requires graduation from a respiratory program and current RCP licensure, with CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications preferred. Candidates should adhere to safety policies and communicate changes to the care team.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate Degree from an accredited school.
• Graduate of a respiratory care program; licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Bachelor of Science degree in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct patient care.
• Follow schedule and facility policies; document care data and outcomes.
• Assess patient status, plan outcomes, and execute interventions per plan of care.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures; report changes to supervisor and physicians.
