Palm Valley Post Acute is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift (6p-6a) to provide respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to patients. You will follow established policies, document findings, and collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in respiratory care, graduation from a respiratory care program, and CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow schedule/instructions from supervisor and policies.
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures for respiratory care.
• Perform focused interview to identify patients' needs and assess status.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document diagnoses.
• Plan outcomes of care and implement interventions.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Communicate changes to supervisors, nurses, and physicians as needed.
