Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in respiratory care required.
• Registry eligible required; CRT certification required.
• RRT certification preferred; DC licensure or eligibility as applicable.
• CPR certification within 90 days; BLS/NRP for healthcare providers.
• 0-3 years acute care experience preferred; team player with communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to diverse patient populations per physician orders.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, humidification, and related equipment.
• Perform spirometry, blood gas analysis, and monitoring as ordered.
• review EHRs, document educational needs, and ensure safety standards.
• Communicate with patients and families; participate in crisis interventions as needed.
