Qualifications

• Requires completion of an accredited respiratory care program.
• NBRC Certification (CRT/RRT) is required.
• Active Kentucky Respiratory Care Practitioner license is required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; NRP and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory diseases and conditions.
• Deliver medicated and non-medicated respiratory therapy as ordered.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive ventilator support for acute respiratory failure.
• Perform diagnostic tests as part of patient assessment and management.
• Assist in quality improvement projects and with equipment and supplies; comply with licensure rules.
