Qualifications

• Requires CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license and BLS ACLS PALS certifications.

• Experience preferred; new grads welcomed with proper training.
• All foreign degrees must be accompanied by US equivalence confirmation.

Responsibilities

• Manages artificial airways and ventilators; documents patient care and observations.
• Performs respiratory assessments and recommends care based on findings.
• Administers aerosolized meds and monitors oxygen therapy.
• Performs spirometry and blood gas analysis; responds to emergencies as needed.
• Works with the care team to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals.
