Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide.
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Previous geriatric experience preferred, providing assistance with ADLs.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
• Reliability, caring demeanor, and respectful attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents' physical, emotional and psycho-social wellbeing.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
• Follow policies and directions from Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
