Job summary

The Bristal in Wayne, NJ is hiring a Resident Services Aide for the full-time night shift (11pm–7am). You will provide compassionate care to residents, assist with ADLs, and ensure safety and well-being in a premier assisted living community.

Qualifications include CNA or HHA certification, English proficiency, and experience with geriatric residents. This on-site role requires reliability, empathy, and a calm, respectful demeanor toward elders.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide required.
• Experience with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Geriatric population experience with ADLs preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
• Patience and professionalism in redirecting residents.
• Reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor.
• Respect for the elderly; stay calm at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Support residents' physical, emotional and psychosocial well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing.
• Follow all policies and procedures and the Nurse Shift Supervisor/Director of Wellness instructions.
