Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as an Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Current ACLS certification.
• (RRT) NBRC certification.
• (ER/Pedi) PALS certification.
• (NICU) NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• The Respiratory Therapist RRT is responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and critical care settings.

Education
