Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care across inpatient and outpatient settings, serving patients from neonates to adults. You will deliver therapies, perform diagnostic testing, maintain equipment, and document meticulously while collaborating with the care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in state(s) of practice.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist within 6 months of hire and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert respiratory care to a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate respiratory therapies and diagnostic testing; maintain equipment and document accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
