Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Night Shift in Allentown. This part-time role runs 7p–7:30a with a rotating schedule including every third weekend and every other holiday.

You will work in the Respiratory Care department, delivering therapies and ensuring safe, effective patient care. The Respiratory Therapist will administer prescribed therapies, monitor patient progress, collaborate with physicians, and document care in compliance with

Qualifications

Must hold RRT certification or eligibility and be able to provide respiratory therapy at a high standard.
Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
Strong knowledge of pulmonary care procedures and patient assessment.
Excellent communication and teamwork with physicians and nursing staff.

Responsabilités

Administer prescribed respiratory therapies including oxygen, meds, PFTs, ABGs, and ventilation support.
Perform invasive and non-invasive evaluations to determine care needs and adjust protocols.
Monitor patients on mechanical ventilation and participate in rounds and weaning protocols.
Collect specimens and analyze results to guide treatment decisions.
Document all patient care activities and ensure compliance with care standards.
