Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week PRN assignment on the night shift (7p–7a). The role emphasizes critical care with independent decision‑making and patient education.

The RRT will deliver respiratory care across units, including ventilator management, ABG analysis, and collaboration with the medical team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy or cardiopulmonary sciences program with a B.S. degree.
• Current BLS, ACLS and RRT certifications required.
• NRP and PALS certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers respiratory care; delivers aerosolized meds and oxygen therapy.
• Performs ventilator management, weaning, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Educates patients and families; coordinates care with the health care team.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to quality improvement initiatives.
• Assists in invasive procedures and supports critical care operations.
