Job summary

AdventHealth Parker is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care across age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. You will follow best practices, document care in the EMR, and administer therapies while minimizing medication errors.

You will perform airway management, therapy administration, and patient assessment within a fast-paced environment, ensuring infection control and effective collaboration with the care team at our Parker, Colorado facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology is required
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems is required
• Ability to function in stressful, fast-paced environments and apply stress management techniques
• Ability to work independently within the scope of certification is required
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, diplomacy, and professional demeanor is required
• Able to read, write and understand English to carry out job requirements
• Experience with computers is required
• Critical thinking and patient assessment skills to evaluate and modify care plan
• Ability to ensure infection control is maintained
• Ability to document in EMR accurately
