Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in the Telemetry Unit and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, assessing patients, and coordinating care with physicians to ensure high-quality outcomes during night shifts. A valid RN license and BLS/ACLS are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Education

Current RN License

BLS certificate

Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation

ACLS certificate

Acute Care hospital experience

Ventilator Management experience

RN-BC or similar certification

BSN preferred
