Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Lansing, MI is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Secured Unit on the night shift. The role involves delivering nursing care within the unit's scope, following hospital policies, and applying standard nursing processes to meet patient needs.

You will assess patients, plan and implement care, educate patients, and supervise ancillary staff as needed. This full-time position requires weekend availability and entails 72 biweekly hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Michigan RN license with active registration.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS within six months for critical care/ER units; NRP/PALS/TNCC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses each assigned patient, documents and evaluates their response to plan of care, and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Plans and implements the patient's plan of care/standard of care and provides patient teaching using the plan of care/standard of care.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
