No prior experience is required, and the incumbent will deliver patient care using the nursing process in a psychiatric setting. The RN will document care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and assist in discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications

• Completed basic professional curricula of a nursing program with diploma/degree.
• Valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process using appropriate medical terminology.
• Coordinates patient discharge with referrals and education.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to meet unit goals.
