Job summary

Saint Francis Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (Internal Traveler) for Muskogee Campus. This part-time position, with ECB status, requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and offers $65 per hour with (2) 12-hour night shifts per week. A 13-week signed agreement applies, focusing on nursing care per standards and unit policies.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom.
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License. BLS and ACLS preferred.
• 1 year related experience in the selected specialty.
• Knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work; effective interpersonal, written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients.
• Completes assessment and individualizes plan of care within unit guidelines.
• Carries out nursing care with consideration for cultural and psychosocial factors and ages.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and performs nursing skills for the patient population.
• Documents steps of the nursing process/care accurately and concisely.
• Provides patient education and discharge planning; makes referrals as needed.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and participates in unit/PI activities.
• Attends mandatory in-services and meets unit education standards.
