Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (Internal Traveler) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies.

The role requires 1 year of Medical Surgical experience, an Oklahoma RN license, and prefers BLS/ACLS. Night shifts (7a–7p) and travel duties are involved, with a 13-week agreement and 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience in Medical Surgical.
• Valid RN license (Oklahoma or multi-state). BLS/ACLS preferred.
• Minimum education as required by nursing program and state board.
• Knowledge of disease state management and clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within unit guidelines.
• Develops and individualizes care plans; prioritizes and organizes nursing actions.
• Documents nursing steps accurately and concisely in patient records.
• Performs patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and communicates effectively to support patient outcomes.
• Attends mandatory in-services and adheres to unit education standards.
